Cloud UX
Cloud UX is a design school founded by Ty Griffin and Morgan Weidner. Our mission is to give aspiring designers a more hands-on, practical UX education led by industry leaders.
Ty Griffin has 20 years of design experience. He is currently the Head of Design for a technology company in the Plano, Texas area and is very passionate about making UX design education available to people from all walks of life.
Morgan Weidner has been in the UX field for 5 years and transitioned from Graphic Design after taking Ty’s first course. As a product of this teaching method, she is currently leading a team of designers as a UX Manager.

What if I have already taken a bootcamp course? How is Cloud UX different?

Yes, the “cloud” in Cloud UX represents the ability to learn UX Design remotely.
What if I am already job searching and I find a job before the course is over?
Our primary goal is to produce top-notch UX designers. Landing your first UX job is an exciting milestone, but becoming a successful designer is much more critical. We currently have students enrolled who are working full-time UX jobs.
Will I need to use a Mac?
All of the tools needed for this class are cloud-based you can access everything you need from any computer.
Will I need to purchase any software for the course?
The average student spends less than $100 on software, but that is up to you. You can complete the course without spending any additional money on software.

Our workshops and courses are both powerful hands-on learning experiences, but they differ in their format, duration, and objectives.
Workshops
Cloud UX workshops are targeted, hands-on short-term learning experiences that aim to deliver practical skills and knowledge. These sessions are usually 2-4 hours with limited seats and are available once a month in our Plano, Texas campus. The cost of workshops may vary, but they are free for active Cloud UX students.
UX Course
